It's more than just alligators! The East Texas Zoo & Gator Park is a one-of-a-kind destination in East Texas. It’s part zoo, part alligator park, part petting zoo and a whole lot of fun! The East Texas Zoo and Gator Park houses dozens of alligators, from hatchlings all the way up to 14 feet long monster reptiles. All of the enclosures put you close enough to the gators to get a feel for them, but safe enough to stay safe. During the warmer months, the staff have scheduled alligator feedings. Everyone who is at the park can gather around the alligator pond, and watch the gators swarm together for their feeding. Check out the video above to see for yourself.

But there’s so much more! The zoo is also home to primates big and small, as well as exotic cats, lemurs, zebras, and all sorts of other critters. The park entrance lobby is full of reptiles, snakes, frogs and lizards. We are a little biased, but another top attraction inside the lobby is the baby corner. Inside this area you can interact with different types of animals ranging from alligators, to monkeys to foxes.
